This policy covers www.broadcoveinsights.com (the “Site”) and our related business communications. Broad Cove Insights LLC, Cumberland Foreside, Maine, USA (“we,” “us”) is responsible for this information. Questions go to jon.leslie@broadcoveinsights.com.

3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, under terms that limit their use of it:
Cloudflare: Site hosting and security
HubSpot: the Site’s forms, call scheduling, contact records, marketing emails and hosting for free downloads
Google: the Site’s web fonts, which your browser loads from Google, and the YouTube video on our Favro skills page
Our email and document provider: business email and files
Zoom: live training sessions
Payment and accounting providers: invoicing and payments
Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality duties
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. Client data in paid engagements
When we build or run agents for a client, including hosted MCP servers, we may process project data from the client’s tools, such as tasks, bugs, comments and user names. We handle that data on the client’s behalf and only under the Engagement Agreement and any data processing agreement in it. Those agreements govern that data. Ask us if your studio needs a data processing agreement.
5. AI tools
Agents we build run on the AI provider and account each client chooses, such as Claude or ChatGPT. We may also use AI tools to help draft replies, summarize call notes or write code. We use those tools only under business terms that do not permit the provider to train its models on the content we send.
6. How long we keep it
Notes, inquiries and call records that do not lead to paid work: up to 2 years after our last contact.
Marketing email consent: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a record of the opt-out so we don’t email you again.
Client contracts, invoices and business records: for the engagement plus 7 years, for tax and legal reasons.
Hosting and security logs: as long as our hosting provider keeps them, typically days to weeks.
We delete or anonymize information once we no longer need it.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or our providers’ participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
Correct it
Delete it
Stop using it for a purpose, or stop marketing to you
Move it to another provider in a usable format
Withdraw any consent you gave
Email jon.leslie@broadcoveinsights.com, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We may need to confirm your identity, and we reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies and embedded content
The Site has no analytics tags and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to block bots and attacks.
The video on our Favro skills page uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may store data in your browser once you play it. If you open our HubSpot scheduling page, HubSpot may set its own cookies under its policy. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
11. Children
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above. For significant changes, we will also notify clients by email.
